Roman Armor - Vambraces




Roman Vambraces, textures and geometry inspired by the vambraces used by the main character in Ryse: Son of Rome. Didn't want to them look too fancy, I do treasure the standard "mass production" looks of weapons and armor. Unique armor and weapons looks great for main characters, but I decided that creating a bog standard vambrace suited my interests the most. Base mesh was made in Maya, then I exported the model into ZBrush for sculpting and texturing. The main benefit of using ZBrush was to create a smooth normal map, so as to hide any low poly areas.
